The whirl of the year has come to a peak,
As we gather ‘round and sort what we seek.
And as we open now to receive what we sowed,
We restructure plans with all we’ve been showed.
This Full Moon is shining on all that we’ve learned,
And asking us to celebrate all that we’ve earned.

This month’s Full Moon is what’s known as the “Harvest Moon”—the lunation that marks a time of flowing harvest, great abundance, and hearty reward.

For all that you’ve been working towards this year, this Moon is a time where the light of the Divine shines down to reveal the results of your efforts.

But, it’s important to remember that these results and rewards may not all be physical!

In fact, many of these rewards may seem invisible to the eye—appearing in the form of emotional clearings, deeply grounded energy, or even a boost of bravery.

It’s important now to recognize just how far you’ve come since January.

With Saturn making an important conjunction to the South Node this month, this Moon also marks a significant time of making peace with the past.

And it is here, we’re told, where the deepest rewards of the year lies.

My love, you have come so far, and now it’s time to honor your journey by forgiving what has passed so you can allow yourself to fully step into all that’s coming—with both eyes, both feet, and whole heart facing forward.

This Full Moon is your opportunity to make peace with your enemies, forgive old hurts, and feel whatever it is you need to feel so that you can make space for what’s to come.

Because there is so much on its way.
But it needs space first to fully bloom inside your life.

Darling, this Full Harvest Moon may feel like an uncomfortable time, but that discomfort is simply the cosmos excavating past all the blocks, the wounds, and the pains, to find the treasure beneath it all—to find the gifts that were always yours.

And it is your sole task right now to let that happen.

To allow the old to crumble way,
To allow past hurts to be forgiven,
To allow outdated restrictions to melt from your bones.

And you must do whatever it is you need to do—cry, scream, wail, kick your feet and yell—so you can finally, finally let yourself be at peace.

Because this Full Harvest Moon wants to remind you that peace is your birthright.
That the coming beauty and bountiful rewards are your birthright.
That all opportunities presenting themselves to you right now (whether they first appeared as blessings or as pains) are simply leading you back to the magic and beauty that is your birthright.

My love, it’s time to slip into the arms of this night’s Moon and allow it to brush away all that is not true, to allow the full breath of you—the full ocean that is you—to burst on through.

Here are some ways you can honor this Full Moon in Pisces:

  • Draw a bath. Let the waters of Pisces draw out any stress that’s made a home from your bones by drawing a nice hot bath (or shower) on this night. If it is safe for you to do, consider turning all the lights off and bathing in total darkness. Allow your mind to wander and your heart to swell. Let this be a healing time. Allow the womb of the waters to cleanse you once more.

  • Find healing in sound. This is a time to go listen to live music, play your favorite tunes, or look up sound bowl meditations online. Play whatever tones, songs, or genres that your heart’s calling to—and allow it to be your medicine at this time. The energy of ever-musical Pisces flows best under the beats of sound.
  • Meditate. This Moon is an energy that will be greatly benefited by some time alone with the self. Now, remember… meditation needn’t always look like sitting in total silence. It can also look like cooking or dancing or singing or walking—whatever quiets the noise of your mind and allows you to tap deeply into your center.

This Full Moon in Pisces calls in both a time of great harvest and a time of great release.

It’s important to remember that this isn’t a time to speed-up and take risks—but a time to slow down into ourselves and our truths.

If there are still some blocks or some pains still standing between you and your heart, then it’s time now to release them, my love.

That is the medicine of this Full Moon, and that is what it’s asking you to do at this time.
Release, forgive, let go.
Make the space you need to grow.

And take heart, sweet thing.
The best has yet to come.
