An Egyptian Goddess of magic, fertility, and healing, Isis was as one of the most powerful deities in all of ancient Egypt.
The Mother, the Lover, the Queen of the Throne, Isis was pure beauty, brilliance, and royalty embodied.
This Goddess was the cunning mind that outsmarted the great God Ra, the selfless being that rescued Egypt from cruel clutches, and the unshakable heart who defied death when her lover was taken too soon.
She was, and still is, regarded as one of he most powerful beings in all of creation.
In fact, they say she was there just after all of life began—as one of two daughters born to the earth God Geb, and the sky Goddess, Nut.
Being the more lovely of the daughters, Isis was married off to her finest brother, Osiris. The two would take to each other quite quickly and blossom into a perfect pairing—going on to happily rule over Egypt… until Osiris was brutally murdered by their jealous, seething brother.
Now, the death of Osiris, and the subsequent rise of their son Horus, would become one of the most famous Egyptian myths ever recorded. And though the tale centers on the death of the king and rise of his prince, it is through this iconic story that we see the true rise of Isis too—for she was the heart that defied death, championed life, and made magic out of matter. Without the power of Isis, there would be no story to tell.
There is so much to say about this great Goddess of beauty, magic, and creation.
But through all the stories and the tales, there is an unshakable core that cannot be forgotten…

She is the reminder to every woman everywhere that no man, no person, nobody can ever snuff out your spark.
