As the moon leaves Saturn's house of Capricorn, she is reminded that she will see him soon at his second home in Aquarius. She’s moving along slowly, taking in the scenery, and Saturn says he will just meet her there. When she arrives at the address, she is surprised to see the home standing before her. It’s unique, to say the least. While not extravagant, it has different building materials and design lines than the other houses on the block. It was definitely designed to turn heads. “I wonder what the neighbors think…” the moon muttered to herself.

She knocked on the door and waited for the patient, practical & structured god she had spent the last few days with to answer. She prepared herself for the strict and stern Saturn she already knew and almost fell over when he opened the door. With his long hair pulled back in a ponytail, exposed chest, and brightly printed harem pants, she had to take a step back on the porch to check the numbers on the house again. Was she at the right place?

Saturn greeted her with a hug and said it was so good to see her. He ushered her into the foyer, took her bags, and welcomed her to his home. The Moon looked around and saw that the walls were decorated with unique art, the table was full of stacks of fliers, and…. was that a robot? Saturn could see she was intrigued and happily began explaining. The art is his evolving collection and includes purchases he made from street artists in underserved communities. The fliers are for the protest he is attending this weekend, and the robot… Well, that is just something he is tinkering with. “I like this version of Saturn,” she thinks to herself. He’s different and carefree.

Later that night, The Moon meets Saturn in the Aquarius dining room for dinner. Only, instead of a dining table and chairs, as she expected, Saturn shows her to a pillow for the floor-seating-style meal. Exotic curtains frame the entryway, and a pile of books sits on the floor. She glances at the binds as she walks by and sees titles on Climate Change, Social Economics, Creating Community, and alien conspiracy theories. The Moon laughed to herself as she imagined the Saturn she met in Capricorn reading these titles. She decided, most definitely, that Saturn has two very different personas he expresses. How nice, she thought, to be so many different things.

Sitting on the floor at dinner, Saturn asks The Moon about her travels through the cosmos and who she has met along the way. He asks how she was treated in each house, if she was given fair quarters, and if the other gods & goddesses were supportive of her nature. He inquires about her future plans and tells her about his. He is excited to innovate, and she can tell he likes coloring outside the lines. Saturn encourages the moon to question everything, consider other perspectives, and always keep the collective in her thoughts and actions. Our usually emotionally-led moon is fascinated with this forward-thinking version of Saturn, and she feels excited by the influx of knowledge. In Aquarius, Saturn challenges her, makes her think, and incites her curiosity. The two divine beings spend the evening sitting crisscrossed on the floor, drinking hibiscus tea and pondering the state of humanity. When the moon finally made it to bed later that night, her mind was so full of new thoughts that she could barely sleep.
